Each canvas is made with premium canvas and long-lasting inks to preserve the painting’s blue water, warm sand, soft light, and visible painterly texture. The canvas is wrapped around sturdy 1.5-inch stretcher bars, and the artwork continues around the sides for a finished gallery-style appearance. It arrives ready to hang with secure hanging hardware and can be displayed with or without an optional floating frame.
This artwork is offered in one vertical composition. Expect slight color variation among device displays. Cropping varies a little by size, and each crop is prepared to preserve the joined hands, heart-shaped shoreline, and footprints.
Canvas Care
- Display away from prolonged direct sunlight to protect the color.
- Avoid bathrooms, damp spaces, fireplaces, radiators, and areas with extreme heat or humidity.
- Dust gently with a soft, clean, dry microfiber cloth. Do not use water or cleaning products.
- Lift and carry the canvas by the frame rather than pressing on the artwork surface.
Hand-Embellished Canvas Option
For a richer painterly surface, choose a Hand Embellished finish. I personally apply professional acrylic paint and gel medium across the canvas, adding textured brushstrokes and highlights that follow the original artistic vision. The artist-applied finish brings added depth to Christ’s robe, the sea foam, the warm sand, and the light surrounding the child.
No two hand-embellished canvases are exactly alike. Each one is individually finished with care, creating a one-of-a-kind fine art reproduction with a strong connection to the artist’s hand. This option requires additional creation time.

The curve of the surf forms a heart around them. Blue water and white foam meet warm sand beneath their feet. Jesus looks toward the child, keeping her close as she looks ahead. His care gives the scene its peace. The sea fills much of the painting, but our eyes return to their joined hands.
