One thing I love most about this painting is the expression on the Savior’s face. His smile feels warm, gentle, and full of joy. I also love the way the girl looks back at Him with trust and happiness. To me, that is the gospel in one image. Jesus Christ calls us to come unto Him with open hearts, childlike faith, and simple trust. Because of His Atonement, Resurrection, and endless love, we can come near to Him without fear. He is my Savior, and He can be yours too.
