Partridge in a Pear Tree | Signed Handmade Art Print

One partridge rests in a tree filled with golden pears beneath a navy sky. Paired with Psalm 104, Partridge in a Pear Tree brings folk charm and seasonal color to a signed fine art paper print for Christmas gatherings.

“which sing among the branches.” — Psalm 104:12 (KJV, excerpt)

Story Behind the Art

A single partridge rests among golden pears beneath a crescent moon. Partridge in a Pear Tree brings a familiar Christmas subject into a playful painted garden. Psalm 104 offers a fitting Scripture connection, praising God for the living world and the birds that make their homes among its branches.

The tree stands against a deep navy sky scattered with small gold stars. Pink flowers grow along the ground and among the leaves. The pears catch the light, while the little bird sits quietly on a curved branch. This balance of rich color and simple shapes gives the work its cheerful character.

The scene draws from Christmas song and folk decoration. Its link to the psalm is the pleasure of noticing created things. A bird, a branch, fruit, and the moon each give us something to enjoy. The painting invites close looking, with small details that children and adults can discover together.

For a kitchen, breakfast nook, or family room, the tree brings seasonal color without a crowded scene. Navy and gold work well with warm wood, while the pink blossoms add a soft note. It also suits a Christmas gift for a bird lover or someone who enjoys folk art.

My hope is that this little tree adds gladness to your gatherings and gratitude for the world God made. Choose a size and frame that work with your home, and let Partridge in a Pear Tree become part of your Christmas traditions.
