A Trumpet of Joy | Signed Handmade Art Print

A Trumpet of Joy places a white-robed angel among soft clouds and scattered stars. Paired with Psalm 98:6, this vertical fine art paper print celebrates praise with ivory wings, a golden trumpet, and a peaceful blue-gray sky.

“With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.” — Psalm 98:6 (KJV, excerpt)

Story Behind the Art

A golden trumpet reaches into the open sky as an angel lifts a song of praise. A Trumpet of Joy is paired with Psalm 98:6, which calls for a joyful sound before the Lord, the King. The painting offers a poetic vision of that praise, with a white-robed angel, broad wings, and a sky scattered with stars.

The angel's profile and hands give the scene a clear focus. From the small mouthpiece, the eye follows the trumpet toward its wide bell. Flowing sleeves and bright feathers repeat that outward movement. Soft clouds gather below, while pale points of gold bring a gentle rhythm to the blue-gray sky.

These details make the painting feel musical even in a silent room. The trumpet is bright without overwhelming the soft air around it. The robes and clouds share warm ivory tones, so the whole scene holds together with a light, peaceful touch. It is a celebration expressed through both movement and stillness.

At Christmas, songs often help us speak the joy that ordinary words cannot quite carry. This angel art belongs beside those familiar moments: a carol played at home, a family singing together, or a quiet evening after worship. The psalm directs our praise toward the Lord and the great things He has done.

Place this work near a piano, in a music room, or among the lights and greenery of a Christmas gathering space. It also suits a gift for a singer, musician, or loved one who enjoys angel art. Choose the available size and framing option for your home, and let this scene share in your Christmas celebration.
