One thing I love most about this painting is the love in the Savior’s posture. He bends down to the child’s level, fully present, fully patient, and fully aware of what she needs. To me, that is the heart of the gospel. He is our helper. He sees the places where we feel unsure, and He offers real strength, real peace, and real guidance. Isaiah 41:13 is a promise that still matters today: we do not cross life’s hard places alone.
