"Rejoice in the Lord" is a visualization of Psalm 32:6-7, which speaks of God’s protection and deliverance. In this painting, we see Jesus embracing a woman in a radiant field of golden flowers, symbolizing the safety and joy found in the Lord’s embrace. The golden field and the soft play of light reflect the warmth and comfort of divine love and protection that envelop us, even in life's storms.
I'm particularly moved by the way the light seems to dance around them, a visual representation of the scripture, "You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance."
