Rose of Bethlehem | Signed Handmade Art Print

Rose of Bethlehem shows Mary holding Jesus within an oval of roses and olive branches. Her blue cloak and the pale blossoms stand against a dark ground. Inspired by Mary's praise in Luke 1, this vertical fine art paper print celebrates the Savior she welcomed.

“My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.” — Luke 1:46–47 (KJV, excerpt)

Story Behind the Art

Mary's song in Luke 1 turns our attention to the Lord. She praises God for what He has done and rejoices in her Savior. Rose of Bethlehem brings that response of faith beside a close view of Mary holding Jesus, surrounded by a ring of roses and olive branches.

Her blue cloak curves around the child, while pale flowers lift out of the dark background. The oval arrangement gathers our eyes toward their faces. The blossoms add a sense of celebration without drawing us away from Jesus. At the center is a mother giving her full attention to her child.

Luke tells us that Mary received God's call with trust. Her praise grew from the great things He had done. The floral setting gives artistic form to that joy, while the child in her arms keeps the source of her praise clear. God has drawn near through His Son.

A mother may connect with the closeness of this scene, and anyone who loves Mary's song may value its quiet focus. The dark background and flowing branches suit a reading corner or a small wall beside a chair. It offers a place for your eyes to rest when you pause for prayer.

I hope the beauty of these flowers leads your thoughts toward the Savior Mary holds. This work is a fitting Christmas gift for a mother or someone who treasures art of Mary and Jesus. Choose a size for the space you have in mind, and welcome Rose of Bethlehem into your home.
