One thing I love most about this painting is the expression on the Savior’s face. His smile feels peaceful and sincere, as though His words of thanks rise naturally from His heart. He showed us how to love, trust, and honor our Heavenly Father. Through His example, we learn that gratitude is more than noticing our blessings. It is remembering the One who gives them and choosing to trust Him in every season.
There are days when gratitude comes easily, and there are days when we have to search for it. I think most of us know what it feels like to carry worries while still trying to recognize God’s goodness.
