I am thrilled to unveil "The Good Shepherd #3," the newest addition to my "Good Shepherd" series. This painting portrays Jesus cradling a lamb, reflecting the love and care described in John 10:11, where Christ declares, "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep."
In the arms of the Good Shepherd, we find a safe haven, a place where each of us, like the lamb in the painting, is held close to the heart of our Savior. What resonates with me the most, and what I’ve endeavored to capture in this piece, is the connection between the Shepherd and His flock, symbolizing the personal and protective relationship Jesus has with each of us.
As the shepherd in the parable leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one, so does the Lord attend to us individually, guiding us through our trials and rejoicing in our return to His fold. It's my sincerest wish that "The Good Shepherd #3" will strengthen the faith of your family but will also serve as a daily reminder of Jesus Christ's divine care. May this painting inspire conversations about the gospel and act as a silent minister to all who view it, testifying of the Shepherd's love and the peace that comes from being within His care.
