This is the scene in my latest painting, "Walk With Me," inspired by Matthew 11:28-29. In these verses, Jesus invites us all to find rest in Him: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
What I love most about this painting is the peace and calm that I feel every time I see it.
