I'm ecstatic to reveal the third painting in my "Baby Jesus" series, entitled "Wrapped in Love." In this digital artwork, you'll encounter the infant Jesus swaddled lovingly in a vibrant red cloth, symbolic of the sacrifice He would make for us. The soft, glowing ambiance envelops Him like a halo, signifying the divine within the human.

The red cloth is no arbitrary choice; it's a visual metaphor for the passion, love, and sacrifice that are at the heart of Jesus' life and mission. With every brushstroke, my soul delved deep into Philippians 2:6-8: "Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage; rather, He made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!"

This scripture resonates with the incredible humility of our Lord, and I wanted that spirit to be palpable in "Wrapped in Love." The red swaddle is not just cloth but a foreshadowing of His ultimate sacrifice, the shedding of divine blood for the sake of flawed humanity. The infant in this painting is both fragile and invincible, both human and divine.

As we celebrate Christmas, it's easy to lose ourselves in the hustle and bustle of shopping, feasting, and merry-making. Yet, the season's truest, deepest joy stems from pondering the birth of a Savior who was willing to set aside His heavenly glory to wrap Himself in the limitations of human flesh. And all for what?
