Glory in the Highest | Signed Handmade Art Print

Glory in the Highest shows shepherds and their flock beneath a sky filled with angels and golden light. This vertical fine art paper print draws from Luke 2, bringing soft blue, cream, and warm gold to a Christmas display centered on the Savior's birth.

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” — Luke 2:14 (KJV)

Story Behind the Art

Luke tells us that a multitude of angels joined the announcement of Jesus' birth. They praised God and spoke of peace on earth. Glory in the Highest opens that moment above two shepherds and their flock, placing heaven's praise over the simple work of watching sheep.

The shepherds look up from a sloping hillside. Around them, the flock stays close to the ground, with cream wool and dark faces set against soft earth colors. Above, white-robed angels stand within a broad opening of light. Blue-gray clouds surround the warm center and give the scene a quiet sense of space.

This is a sweeping view of the Christmas announcement, yet the people below remain part of its center. The good news has reached them where they are. Their familiar hillside becomes the place where they hear about Christ the Lord. The contrast between the small flock and the bright sky gives that truth room to settle.

The soft palette can bring this part of the Nativity story into a living room or a place used for prayer. At Christmas, the scene sits naturally beside greenery and candlelight. Through the rest of the year, its focus on praise and peace offers a fitting companion to Scripture reading and family worship.

If the angels' song is a beloved part of your Christmas tradition, choose Glory in the Highest for your home. Select a size and finish that let the open sky speak within your space, or give it to someone who loves the hope of Christ's birth.
