I am overjoyed to present "Magnificat," the third installment in my "Jesus and Mary" series. Inspired by the profound words of Mary in Luke 1:46-55, this digital painting offers a serene glimpse into a moment that forever changed the world. It shows Mary, the mother of Jesus, looking down with awe and love at her sleeping newborn, Jesus, swaddled snugly in a manger. The peaceful expression on their faces echoes the serenity that fills the room, touched by the grace of God.

As I painted, I couldn't help but dwell on Mary’s beautiful song of praise, also known as the Magnificat. "My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior," she proclaims. In these verses, Mary speaks of a God who performs mighty deeds, lifts the humble, fills the hungry, and keeps promises for eternity. She provides a glorious roadmap of faith and submission to God's will, a lesson that I have tried to convey in this art piece.
