Treasured in Her Heart | Signed Handmade Art Print

Treasured in Her Heart shows Mary resting her cheek against the sleeping Jesus, held close within folds of white cloth. Her blue robe brings a soft note of color. This vertical signed fine art paper print draws its scriptural connection from Mary's reflection in Luke 2:19.

“But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.” — Luke 2:19 (KJV)

Story Behind the Art

After the shepherds spoke of what they had heard, Mary kept those things in her heart. Luke 2:19 gives us this small glimpse of her response. Treasured in Her Heart brings that inward attention into a close view of mother and child. Mary's cheek rests against Jesus as He sleeps in her arms.

White folds surround the two faces and keep them close within the composition. Mary's blue robe adds a soft edge of color. One hand holds the cloth around Jesus, while her other arm supports Him below. There is little else in the scene. The closeness of their faces carries the care at the center of the work.

The Christmas story includes moments of wonder that take time to understand. Mary's response gives us room to pause, listen, and hold what God has done close to our hearts. For a mother or grandmother, the familiar act of holding a sleeping child can deepen that connection. Jesus entered family life with all its need for love and care.

This tall, gentle composition suits a bedroom, a reading corner, or a family prayer space. Its simple colors allow the faces to remain the focus. Consider it for a mother who loves the Nativity story, or for your own home throughout the year. Choose a size for that special place, and bring this close view of Mary and Jesus into the life of your family.
